Frederico Commandino (1509-1575) translated the classical Greek Euclid into Latin in 1572. He was most influential in his translation work of many early authors in mathematics leading a revival of interest in Greek Mathematics. There are numerous geometric diagrams complementing the text. This translation indicated to be from an Arabic manuscript given to Commandino by John Dee (1527 to ~1609) and covers the first six books, plus books eleven and twelve. The Keill work deals with plane and spherical trigonometry and logarithms, and was first published In 1715.
