English text, half-title printed in blue, 4 hand-coloured etched plates by & after Leech and 4 plain woodcut vignettes by Linton after Leech, title-page printed in red and blue, 2pp. of publisher's advertisements at end. Bound in publisher's original cinnamon vertically-waved cloth, stamped in blind and gilt, cream endpapers, all edges gilt, Kerr & Richardson Booksellers label. Condition: VERY GOOD. Binding tight and secure. Very slight bumping and wear to spine ends. Spine cloth very slightly darkened. Interior well-preserved, being near pristine. An excellent copy of Dickens' first and most famous Christmas book. Scarce thus. [Smith II: 4].
