Bound in publisher's original green cloth covers with elaborate gilt decoration, t.e.g., other edges rough cut, pictorial endpapers, half-title, decorative title-page printed in red, green and black, 16 colour plates including frontispiece. Condition: VERY GOOD. Binding tight and secure, slight bumping to spine ends, some light scattered foxing, couple of small tears to page edges, without previous ownership markings. An excellent copy.
Notes: A collection of 11 Robin Hood tales, penned by Henry Gilbert, and augmented by the signature detailed artistry of English book illustrator Walter Crane (1845-1915).
