Handsome full red morocco binding, signed by Hatchards, all page edges gilt, marbled endpapers, half-titles, illustrated throughout by J. Lockwood Kipling and W. H. Drake, head- and tail-pieces, decorative initials. Condition: NEAR FINE. Very light sunning to spine, a few trivial surface marks to boards, otherwise a wonderful copy and without previous ownership markings. Scarce thus.
