Medieval Illuminated Manuscript Leaf

An original single leaf from a Book of Hours, Northern Europe (France), circa 1440, vellum, 220 x 160mm, 13 lines in single-column on both sides, Latin text in brown, red and blue ink, neat gothic book-hand, decorative initials and line-fillers burnished in gold on red and blue ground, illuminated decorative foliate border on both sides. A finely executed leaf in good condition, one corner with small repair.
