Cloth-bound, hardcover, small quarto (19.5cm x 15.5cm x 1.5cm), pp. [29] leaves printed rectos only, two Duthie advert leaves, plus twelve leaves with mounted albumen prints of views photographed by F. H. Mares - the captions to the photographs are as follows: Belfast, General view of the Causeway, The Great Causeway, The Lady's Wishing Chair, The Giant's Loom, The Giant's Organ, Pleaskin Head, Dunluce Castle, Carrick-a-Rede, Shane's Castle, Carrickfergus Castle and Londonderry. Bound in publisher's original green bevelled cloth, lettered and ruled gilt, all edges gilt, dark brown endpapers, half-title, binders sticker to rear. Condition: VERY GOOD. Binding tight and secure, the covers very well-preserved. Interior with some very light scattered foxing and previous owner details to endpapers. Extremely scarce.
