Fifth edition and first edition, two volumes bound in one. Leather-bound, hardcover, small octavo (15.5cm x 10cm x 1.5cm), pp. viii, 80; viii, 76. English text. Bound in handsome contemporary full leather, beautifully gilt ruled and tooled covers, morocco lettering-piece in second spine compartment; marbled page edges and endpapers. With twelve engraved plates by Harblot K. Brown. Both parts printed by Bradbury and Evans. Provenance: John James Purnell's armorial bookplate to front pastedown. Condition: NEAR FINE. Binding tight and secure with the joints and hinges perfectly intact. Covers and contents very well-preserved. An exquisite copy. Scarce thus.
