Handsomely bound in half morocco, spine gilt, marbled paper-covered boards, endpapers marbled, top page edges gilt, other edges uneven, half-title, decorative head-piece. Condition: NEAR FINE. Binding tight and secure with the hinges and joints intact. Covers beautifully preserved. The interior with trivial foxing to endpapers and without previous ownership markings. Extremely scarce.

Notes: A work of eighteenth century erotica, attributed to Tobias Smollett, and considered a rare title in any edition.
