Bound in contemporary full calf, smooth spine, initial and terminal blanks, head and tail-pieces, decorative initial, shoulder-notes, some script in gothic, publisher's advertisement to verso of final leaf, imprimatur leaf at front [page 2]:- "Imprimatur, Hic Liber cui Titulus, The Life and Trial of Sir Walter Raleigh. Ab. Campion, Reverendissimo Domino Gilb. Arch. Cant. à Sac. Domest. Aug. 30. 1676. Ex Æd. Lambeth". Condition: GOOD. Binding secure, with scuffing to the covers, the points and spine ends slightly rubbed. Interior with mild spotting and toning. Old paper title-plate to rear board slightly eroded. Scarce.
