Beautifully bound in full polished calf gilt by Bayntun-Riviere, Bath, England; spine in compartments with contrasting lettering-pieces; all page edges gilt; marbled endpapers; half-title; decorative title-page; numerous b&w drawings throughout as chapter head- and tail-pieces. Printed in Great Britain by T. and A. Constable. Condition: NEAR FINE. A couple of trivial surface marks to boards, otherwise an immaculate copy, without previous ownership markings. Stunning.
