Finely bound in contemporary straight grained morocco, with ornate gilt borders to boards, gilt titles and tooling to spines, page edges speckled, coloured endpapers. Engraved titles. Engraved plates throughout. Printed by C. Whittingham of Chiswick. Condition: VERY GOOD. Bindings tight and secure, all hinges intact. One board with minor abrasion. Contents very good with some light browning and spotting. Previous owner nameplate to front pastedowns. A magnificent set.
