Marbled endpapers, half-title detailing this edition as part of the Burlington Library series - their device also to title-page. 24 colour plates outside the pagination by Sybil Tawse, including a frontispiece with tissue-guard. Condition: NEAR FINE. Collated complete. Binding tight, secure and square, the hinges intact and trivial signs of wear to covers only. Contents largely fresh and clean with a touch of light scattered foxing to endpapers. Previous owner inscription to front endpaper dated '14:V:24'. A magnificent and rare example.
