Written by the Honourable Sir VVilliam Killigrew, Vice-Chamberlain to Her Majesty the Queen Consort. London: printed for Simon Neale at the sign of the three Pidgeons in Bedford-street in Covent-Garden, MDCLXXIV. [1674].

First edition. Three parts in one volume. Leather-bound. Hardback. Small octavo (165 x 100 x 25 mm). Pp. [10], 48, 47-110, [4], 90, [6], 96. English text. Commendatory verses by Edmund Waller, R. Stapleton, and others. Leaves H8 and ²G6 are blank. "Ormasdes·" (caption title) begins new pagination on quire ²B. "Pandora: the scene in Syracutia." (caption title) begins new pagination on quire ³B. Bound in contemporary panelled calf. Initial and terminal blanks present. Head-pieces. Decorative initials. Condition: Fair to good. An incomplete copy - lacking A1 and A2 - this includes the general title-page. Binding tight and secure with a small neat repair to upper joint. The covers with light rubbing and scuffing. The interior shows varying degrees of toning and foxing throughout, plus one or two minor tears. Old inking to front endpaper. Extremely scarce.

Notes: Sir William Killigrew (bap. 1606-1695), playwright and courtier, whose career flourished almost the entire span of the 17th century. There are very few recorded copies of this work, which includes the plays Selindra, Ormasdes and Pandora.
