Illustrated throughout with 123 colour plates with captioned tissue-guards, and two fold-out maps (at back of vol. III). Indexes. Printed by Oliver and Boyd. Condition: NEAR FINE. Bindings tight and secure with the hinges and joints intact, the covers beautifully preserved, with just a hint of bumping to spine ends. Interiors remarkably fresh and clean. Without previous ownership markings. A stunning copy.
