FIRST EDITION, FIRST IMPRESSION; cloth-bound, hardcover with dust jacket, octavo (20cm x 13cm x 1.5cm), pp. 79. English text, with illustrations by Pauline Diana Baynes. Bound in publisher's original covers, patterned endpapers, half-title, illustrated frontispiece plus one full-page plate, beautiful in the text line drawings throughout. Condition: FAIR to GOOD. Binding tight and secure. The covers are well-preserved else for a small area of fading to lower part of the spine. Contents largely fresh and clean with some previous owner inscriptions to the front endpaper. The dust jacket is not price-clipped but it is broken in two parts and shows some minor edge wear and marking. Scarce.
