First thus; leather-bound with slipcase; miniature (58 x 38 x 5 mm); unpaginated, [18] pp.; bound in publisher's original pocket-style full red morocco binding with on-lays and elaborate gilt ruling and tooling, housed in a matching morocco slipcase; pink endpapers. With a 12-month calendar; a table of Kings and Queens' reigns; a table of Lord Mayors and Sheriffs from the year 1781 to the year 1802; a list of holidays; and a table of the current coins. Condition: NEAR FINE. Binding tight and secure, the slipcase very well-preserved. Contents fresh and clean - note: this copy is unusual in that it is bound without a title leaf or engravings (as issued, it seems). Scarce thus.

Notes: A spectacular miniature Almanac from the year 1802, providing all sorts of useful information. Almanacs were very popular and often given as presents in varying forms to suit every pocket. This is an unusual copy and a rare survivor in excellent condition.
