One illustration to a leaf and displayed on rectos, each with a captioned tissue-guard. The text was printed in monotype Baskerville by the officina Bodoni, Verona. The collotype plates were executed by Daniel Jacomet, Paris. The binding was carried out by Messers Nevett Ltd., London. The original English edition consists of 250 copies only.
Condition: GOOD to VERY GOOD. Binding secure the hinges intact. A little erosion to title-plate and head of spine. Some foxing to preliminary textual leaves and fore-edge, however the plates remain very clean. Without previous ownership markings. Scarce.
