English text in double columns, with roman, some Italic and black letter. Frontispiece portrait (plate) of King Charles II. Title-page to the Book of Common Prayer in red and black with extensively red ruled border, textual leaves similarly ruled in red. Title-page vignette with lion rampant and unicorn. At foot of title-page: Cum privilegio. The Salter or Psalms of David begins at N⁵ verso. Rebound in 19th century calf, ruled and tooled in blind, spine with gilt titles, all page edges gilt, marbled endpapers. Condition: GOOD. Binding tight and secure the extremities a little rubbed, a few light scratch marks. Textblock slightly browned and toned. Leaf G⁴ fore edge frayed affecting text. Without previous ownership markings.
