Printed by Wyman and Sons. Condition: Good to very good. Binding tight and secure, some very light shelf wear to covers. Contents excellent, with a touch of foxing to endpapers. Scarce. Notes: Rare and lovely, early guide book to indoor aquariums, which became a growing fascination during the mid-Victorian period. With chapters on algaes and seaweeds, fishes, molluscs, crustacea, annelids, starfish, sea anemones, insects for both fresh abd salt water tanks.
