FIRST EDITION. Cloth-bound; hardcover; octavo (19.5 x 13 x 4.5 cm); pp. [4], v, [3], 1028, [1]. Text in English and Chinese. Bound in publisher's original green cloth covers, decoratively stamped and titled in gilt to spine a upper cover; portrait frontispiece with tissue guard; folding colour map. Condition: GOOD. Binding secure, the inner hinges slightly worn. Spine ends a little rubbed with some trivial marks to covers. Interior largely well-preserved, mild foxing to title, one leaf with a very small taped repair, minor staining to corner of the rear pastedown. Scarce.
