Bound in publisher's original parchment covers beautifully lettered and decorated in gilt; with silk-ribbon ties; t.e.g.; illuminated title page and 22 pages of Tennyson's poem, with calligraphic text and illumination by Alberto Sangorski, plus colophon printed in red. Condition: VERY GOOD. Binding tight and secure. Covers well-preserved with some very faint mottling. Interior largely fresh and clean, the endpapers showing light spotting. Without previous ownership markings. A most handsome copy.
