Beautifully bound in black crushed morocco gilt by Bayntun Riviere; covers with single line border enclosing inner panel with bell device; spine in six compartments (Bells device in 4, lettering in 2); all edges gilt; marbled endpapers; half-title; 28 colour plates with captioned tissue-guards; with an additional 10 duo-tone in-text illustrations; plus a title-page portrait vignette; Book Society bookplate designed by Dulac to front pastedown; original bell-patterned endpapers bound in at the rear.
