Beautifully bound in full morocco gilt by Ramage of London, with all-over gilt-tooled design of repeating panels of three lily blossoms in arches, and outside lines of red heart-shaped onlays on both covers, similar gilt motif on spine, gilt decorated dentelles, moiré silk endpapers, a.e.g., half-title, portrait frontispiece with tissue guard, rear indexes. Condition: NEAR FINE. Binding tight and secure with the joints and hinges perfectly intact. Covers immaculately preserved. Interior largely fresh and clean with just a few trivial fox spots. Without previous ownership markings. A truly stunning copy.
