Notes: A scarce first edition by Frank A. Worsley (1874-1943), who is most famous for his service as the Captain of Endurance during the ill-fated expedition with Ernest Shackleton. Worsley was involved with various other expeditions following Shackleton's death, along with service in both World Wars, and wrote extensively about his adventures.
