Initial and terminal blanks plus half-title present. 53 full- and half-page illustrations throughout, including a frontispiece, exquisitely executed by George H. Boughton. Printed by Richard Clay and Sons, Limited. Condition: NEAR FINE. Binding tight and secure, hinges strong, very minor rubbing to extremities, contents near immaculate, without previous ownership markings, however someone has inserted a pressed four-leaf clover between the rear endpapers resulting in a light brown outline, slipcase in very good order.
