Publisher's original deluxe full vellum, elaborately blocked and lettered in gilt to front cover and spine, t.e.g., untrimmed fore edge and bottom edge, pictorial endpapers, initial and terminal blanks plus half-title present, framed title-page with vignette, illustrated with 24 full-page coloured plates by C. E. Brock, head-pieces. Printed by Colston and Coy, Edinburgh. Condition: NEAR FINE. Binding tight, secure and square - importantly the boards are not warped, covers and contents remarkably clean with some light browning to endpapers, and without previous ownership markings. Scarce thus.
