Bound in publisher's original decorative cloth; bevelled board edges; all page edges gilt; brown coated endpapers; half-title; 25 woodcut drawings (21 full-page) by Sol Eytinge, engraved by A. V. S. Anthony, each with a tissue guard; head- and tail-pieces. Condition: VERY GOOD. Binding tight and secure with the joints and hinges intact. Spine ends a little rubbed. Minor marks to covers. Interior largely clean, with a previous owner bookplate to front pastedown and a pencil inscription to front endpaper. Scarce.
