First edition thus. Hardcover. Octavo (210 x 150 mm.), pp. 332, [12 ads]. Publisher's original cloth, black impressed cover and spine titles, borders, front board with oval mounted color plate depicts Alice rising to chase rabbit as he pulls pocket watch from his jacket. Beautifully illustrated by Margaret W. Tarrant with colour plates along with illustrated endpapers [which have a different design front & rear] and includes 12pp catalogue at the rear. Condition: VERY GOOD. Collated complete. Binding tight and secure. Edges and points sharp with very slight bumping to spine ends. Covers and contents largely clean, however, there is some light intermittent foxing and a previous owner name stamped to title-page.
