Hand-coloured aquatint frontispiece (bound in at page 518) and 12 other similar plates, one uncoloured aquatint, large folding linen-backed engraved map (opening 637 x 789 mm) coloured in outline and bound in after the Preface, one similar full-page map bound before the Introduction, not at page 83 as called for. Printed by A. Strahan, London. Provenance: Campbell of Stonefield's small circular armorial bookplate to front pastedown. Condition: VERY GOOD. Collated complete. Binding tight and secure, the covers a little rubbed in places. Interior very well-preserved. An excellent copy and scarce.
