An original single leaf from a printed Book of Hours in Latin, with hand illuminated miniature of Judas Betraying Jesus, northern Europe, c.1510. Detailed illuminated woodcut miniature within prominent gilt architectural border, the reverse with several lines of printed text in Latin, black letter, within elaborate printed border depicting monks, saints and grotesque figures, on fine vellum, leaf size c.220 x 115 mm. A very well preserved leaf with some mild cockling, toning to reverse and a tiny hole in top margin.
