ORIGINAL 1843 MAP OF CHINA BY JOHN ARROWSMITH

Original map of China with slipcase, published 15th February 1843, by John Arrowsmith, 10 Soho Square, London. Size: 69 x 59 cm. Original outline and wash colour. Korea showed at the top right corners, as well as Taisan (Formosa) and the Loo Choo Islands. Condition: VERY GOOD. Map very well-preserved, without tears or obvious marks. Slipcase with some moderate edge wear, rubbing and marks. Scarce thus.
