FIRST U.K. EDITION, FIRST PRINTING. Signed by J.M. Barrie on a laid in signature. Cloth-bound, hardcover, octavo (21 x 15 x 4 cm.), pp. vii, 267. English text, with illustrations by F.D. Bedford. Bound in publisher's original cloth, spine and front cover elaborately gilt decorated, half-title, 13 b&w plates. Half-title page with a laid in piece of paper cut from a letter and bearing the authors signature in black ink. Condition: VERY GOOD. Binding tight, secure and square. Covers well-preserved, with very slight bumping to spine ends and rubbing to points. Interior with some trivial light scattered foxing and typical browning to endpapers. Tipped in newspaper clipping to front pastedown dated Monday, March 22, 1915, detailing  the death of J.M. Barrie's adopted son, George Llewelyn Davies. A wonderful copy with the authors signature. Scarce thus.
