Finely bound in full marbled calf by Mudie, spine with five raised bands, gilt titles to spine and upper cover, gilt inner dentelles, all page edges gilt, marbled endpapers, half-title present, frontispiece and illustrations by D. G. Rossetti, head-pieces. Printed by R. & R. Clark, Edinburgh. Condition: VERY GOOD. Binding tight and secure the hinges intact. Light shelf wear to covers, rear cover with a small dark mark. Some light foxing to endpapers, the rear pastedown with a small water mark, contents otherwise very nicely preserved. Previous owner name neatly inked to front endpaper.
