Handsomely bound in full calf by Sangorski & Sutcliffe, red morocco lettering-piece, t.e.g., other edges uncut, marbled endpapers. Condition: VERY GOOD. Binding tight and secure with the hinges and joints perfectly intact. Light fading to covers. Interior very well-preserved. Bookplate to front pastedown.
Notes: Facsimile of the first edition, published at Kilmarnock on 31 July 1786 by John Wilson, which was Burns's first appearance in print. Finely bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe in full tan calf. A lovely copy.
