238 x 153 mm. Verso with one- and two-line initials painted gold on a red or blue ground and a full metalcut border featuring biblical scenes, recto with a full-page metalcut miniature, beautifully coloured by a contemporary hand, depicting The Meeting at the Golden Gate between Joachim and Anne in striking detail and colours, surrounded by a simple frame painted gold. Condition: VERY GOOD. A very well-preserved example, the colours remaining bright, some mild cockling to the edges.
