Contemporary half calf, cloth sides, titles gilt, all page edges gilt. Condition: Collated complete. Binding tight and secure. Slight rubbing to extremities and soiling to covers. Some light scattered foxing and marginal stains. Good. Note: London Printing and Publishing Company, London and New York, [1861-1863]. Although there is no date of publication, it is sure that it was printed after the 1860 massacres in Syria. The dissertation of W. Cooke Stafford describes the massacres of the Syrian Christians.
