Bound in publisher's original gilt decorated cloth, pictorial endpapers, half-title, decorative title-page printed in red and black, 7 tipped-in colour plates by Hugh Thomson, chapter head-pieces as drawings of bells. Printed by Hazell Watson & Viney. Condition: VERY GOOD. Binding tight, secure and square, the hinges and joints intact. Slight bumping to spine ends. Interior largely clean with just a trace of light fox spots. Small and neat inscription to half-title page. Scarce.
