Bound in publisher's original green and red cloth gilt, bevelled boards, top edges gilt, other edges uneven, half-titles, numerous illustrations throughout (some folding), printed side- and footnotes, rear appendices. Condition: GOOD. Binding tight and secure. Covers with some light fading and marks, the spine ends slightly bumped. Contents complete and largely well-preserved, some of the folding plates slightly torn and with old taped repairs. Vol. 3 with a previous owner name to front endpaper. A scarce history and genealogy of the Donald/MacDonald clan.
