Uniformly bound in handsome contemporary full sprinkled calf; smooth spines with gilt bands and red morocco lettering-pieces; initial and terminal blanks present; half-titles; printed footnotes; appendix and index. Condition: GOOD. Collated complete. Bindings tight and secure, with slight wear to joints, spine ends and corners, the boards well-preserved. Interiors largely fresh and clean with just a few trivial fox spots. Nice armorial bookplate to volume one front pastedown. An excellent and attractive set.
