Stunningly bound in contemporary tree calf, smooth spines with red morocco lettering-pieces, speckled page edges, initial and terminal blanks present. Condition: VERY GOOD. Bindings tight and secure, the hinges and joints perfectly intact. Very slight rubbing to extremities. Contents toned with some scattered fox spots. Previous owner details neatly inked to front endpaper. Scarce thus.
Notes: A handsome two volume set of the most influential book on economics ever written, finely bound in the original tree calf. This being the third American Edition, with additions not found in the 1789 or 1796 editions.
